Quick post, quick card 2

This is a card I made for a challenge on a french speaking forum "Boutique Pop'art":

I used patterned paper and matching cardstock, the bird is a Magic Motif by Glue Dots with Crushed Velvet Flock from Doodlebug and plastic dots. It was the first time I tried to sand the edges of my paper/cardstock... Love it!

This is the last card for this year Valentine Day I think...
I will submit it for two different challenges this time:
Week 35 at Penny Black Saturday Challenge and

Its a very simple card and easy to do. But I needed it fast so thats a good thing!
Lets hope the person won't see it here before receiving it... fingers crossed!

Love Card with Cuttlebug - Be Inspired #17

WOW! I found a challenge blog totally awesome: Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot!
Challenge using the Cuttlebug, I am very excited!
I sooo love this machine.
Just sad I found the blog a little bite late, its challenge #17! lol
Anyway, I'll do my very best to participate as often as I can.
This week challenge is about Love.

I used the Cuttlebug Embossing Folder "Divine Swirl" and added some gold ink on my cardstock (pic didn't show it well), corrugated (hope its the right word...) cardstock, scalloped punch with little paper pricking, 3D Heart sticker, border punch by Fiskar, ribbon and gems.
I love the result... even if my daughter asked if I used the corrugated cardstock from the cookies bag... lol

Rose and music...

Rose and Music for Valentine...
Here's another valentine card to share with you:

Textured paper, little music sheet, 3D Rose work well together!
Its a simple card, as always! But love it.
I also used clear stamps from Magenta: "Mots d'événements". I love this set!
